Reasonable doubt

It appears as though a monster, Alex Avila, kidnapped, raped, and murdered a little girl a couple of weeks ago. He had recently been charged with molesting two other small girls. It went to trial and the two little girls testified as to what he had done to them. According to reports, the girl’s testimony was consistent, strong and believable.
Avila did not even testify and the District Attorney felt there was a strong case. Avila was acquitted. Patricia Runnion would be alive today if they would have convicted him based on the strong case that was presented. What must the jurors be thinking now? Two little girls tearfully recounted how this perverted animal repeatedly molested them and threatened to kill them and their mother if they ever told anyone.
They were telling the truth but apparently the jury decided that there was reasonable doubt that the two little girls were lying. They let him off to rape and kill again.

Our court system instructs juries that in order to acquit there must be reasonable doubt. Slick defense attorneys try their very level best to put that doubt there and get their clients off. Satan tries to put “reasonable doubt” into our minds about Jesus Christ. He knows all of the tricks and he and all of his demons make O.J. Simpson’s “dream team”
look like bumbling amateurs. The Bible teaches that we must be vigilant for he stalks around as a roaring lion trying to devour whomever he may.
We are instructed to put on the “full armor of God” to protect us. This includes studying the Word of God – the Holy Bible, attending church, hanging out with other believers, and through consistent daily prayer.
Do not let yourself be deceived by satan. There is no reasonable doubt about Jesus Christ. If you will conscientiously and studiously look at the facts whereby Jesus fulfilled numerous prophecies of His birth, His life, death, and resurrection with a open mind, and couple that with prayer to God there can be no reasonable doubt.

One day soon we will appear before the court of Jesus Christ. We will either have accepted Him or rejected Him as our Savior. If satan has convinced us through “reasonable doubt” that Jesus is not the Son of God and we have rejected Him, there will be no dream team that will get us off. We will be eternally separated and ordered into an exile of lonely sadness-filled doom like he and all of the angels that he deceived eons ago will be exiled. On the other hand if we are one of His, we will be welcomed into His kingdom to bask in His glorious presence forever.

There are monsters out there stalking innocent children and we shudder to think about it. Satan, the “deceiver of old” is out there stalking our very souls…SHUDDER AND THINK ABOUT IT!
