Why do bad people get away with being bad? They do not. Remember a day to the Lord is like a thousand years. There will come a day when all people will be judged. It will be a fearsome time and if I was a non-Christian I would be scared to death. Jesus talked about Hell often and His graphic description of the horrors of it cannot be liberally twisted and interpreted as being anything but a place of misery, a place “where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth”…forever!

The Bible gives us a glimpse of what is to come in the Book of Revelation and I have excerpted some passages that should comfort Christians and strike fear into even a hardened non-Christian. If you are anxious about someone who is apparently getting away with their evil deeds, you should rest easy. The Lord’s eye is always watching.
Nothing escapes Him. It may take a while but you can be assured of ultimate justice.

Rev. 20:11
Then I saw a great white throne
and Him who sat on it, from whose
face the earth and the heaven fled
away. And there was found no
place for them.
And I saw the dead, small and
great standing before God and
books were opened. And another
book was opened, which is the
Book of Life. And the dead were
judged according to their works by
the things which were written in the
books…
And anyone not found in
the Book of Life was cast into the
lake of fire.
21:4
And God will wipe away every
tear from their eyes, there shall be
no more death, nor sorrow, nor
crying. There shall be no more pain,
for the former things have passed
away.
Then He who sat on the throne
said, “Behold I make all things
new.” And He said to me, “Write,
for these words are true and faithful.
And He said to me, “It is done!
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the
Beginning and the End. I will give
of the fountain of the water of life
freely to him who thirsts.
He who overcomes shall inherit
all things, and I will be his God and
he shall be My son.
But the cowardly, unbelieving,
abominable, murderers, sexually
immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all
liars shall have their parts in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
