Temper – temper

Alas it is a terrible weakness to have a terrible temper. Even as I develop more and more gray hair and reach a greater level of maturity, it is sometimes very difficult to hold back anger. The Bible has much to say about the subject and all of it naturally points to putting a lid on the old temper. If you have a temper problem, fight hard to control it because it will certainly be a huge obstacle in living the Christian life. I have two signs right by my phone that say in bright red
letters: “Think!” The signs are there to help remind me to stop for a moment and think about the situation instead of reacting to a situation in a moment of emotion and perhaps saying something that I will regret later.
