Yesterday was a very difficult day for me with challenge after challenge after challenge. On several occasions it was all I could do to remain calm; I nearly exploded. I left the office around 7 P.M. after having started my day at 4 A.M. I was very tired and discouraged. It is times like these that we are the most vulnerable to the wiles of satan. I believe he likes nothing better than for us to remain tired and
discouraged.
Actually most of my problems were in regard to coping with the huge potential growth of our company that we will most likely experience this year. I worked all day on trying to resolve some of the overwhelming challenges of staffing, financing, legal problems, negotiating, and formulating strategy to deal with all of these staggering problems. I worried about the extreme difficulty of staying the course. Did I say worry? I know where that comes from, satan.
This morning I thought about how Jesus must have felt going throughout His entire life knowing what He was going to have to face. My problems are not even tiny problems in comparison and it shames me to even think about it. Jesus knew that He would have to take the punishment for all of the sins of mankind since the beginning of time and we cannot even imagine the agony that He endured. The Bible tells us that He knew full well what was coming and that He dreaded it. Nonetheless, He willingly took this upon Himself, and He stayed the course with perfect “class”.
He overcame all obstacles, He weathered the storm, and He now sits upon His throne with His Father awaiting those who would join Him. I praise Him and thank Him for that from the bottom of my heart.
As always we should look to Jesus’ example when we need encouragement.
He talks directly to us about it in Revelations. He invites us to join Him. He assures us that if we overcome, a reward is waiting. This salvation message can also be used in every other aspect of our lives.
If we stay the course and remain on a path of righteousness, with God’s help we will reap the reward.
If you get tired and discouraged, simply rest up, stay the course, ask for God’s help, and with God’s help you will overcome every obstacle and then reap the reward.

Rev.3:20
Behold I stand at the door and
knock. If anyone hears my voice
and opens the door, I will come in
to him and dine with him and he
with Me.
To him who overcomes I will
grant to sit with Me on My throne
as I also overcame and sat down
with My Father on His throne.
He who has an ear, let him
hear what the Spirit says to the
churches.
