Nuclear meltdown

Recently a journalist was kidnapped and then brutally murdered. His throat was cut and then he was beheaded. A videotape of the grisly event was made and distributed to the media. This was very disturbing to me. We have seen his picture numerous times and have heard his pregnant wife plead for his life. Daniel Pearl’s plight has been personalized. Why does the God of light, the God of love and the God of holy righteousness allow such atrocities to continue? God Himself answered this for us in the Bible. All we have to do is open it up and read it and this tough question as well as all questions can be answered. Justice delayed is not justice denied. A day of reckoning will surely come to all who have rejected Jesus Christ and His commandments.

A new earth where righteousness reigns will not come a moment too early for the followers of Jesus Christ, and for the people who participated in this and those like them, the nuclear meltdown described below will not come a moment too early for them.

His promise, look for new heavens
and a new earth in which righteousness
dwells.
