This is the time of year to set our goals for next year. I have already begun the process. I divide them into several categories, spiritual, family, personal, career. I hope to lose some weight and get into better physical condition, conquer some bad habits, sell a tremendous amount of software, make our company very profitable, convince my children to have children…soon, play the guitar better, resume my artistic endeavors, resume hunting and fishing, get a Lab, and a myriad of other things. Most importantly next year I want God to be proud of me. I have hopes to get WFTD on a website whereby readers can browse through them by subject. I hope to lead several people to the Lord. I intend to read the Bible through again next year.

I would recommend that everyone make reading the Bible through from cover to cover a goal for next year. Once and for all you will know what the Bible says without having someone tell you what to believe. I would suggest reading the New Testament first and then the Old. Read a little every day and before you know it, you will have read the Bible.
God’s Holy Word, given to us by our Father to lead us to salvation and as a guide to get us through this difficult world.

I would suggest that you make one of your top goals to lead someone, or perhaps several people, personally to Christ. There is no greater joy that can be derived, than from that, and according to the Bible the fields are white for the harvest with plenty of souls that can be saved.
Time is ticking away and we need to get to work.

If I forget to say it, Happy New Year! And whatever you do, remember the reason for the season, Jesus Christ.

John 4:35
Do you not say, “There are still
four months and then comes the
harvest?” Behold I say to you, lift up
your eyes and look at the fields, for
they are already white for the harvest!
