I visited the memorial to those who lost their lives in the Oklahoma City bombing last night. It was an eerie feeling. The building was conspicuously missing. A huge clock prominently displays the exact time that the bomb exploded. Over two hundred lighted chairs, one for each person who lost their life that day, overlook a serene pool of water. I felt the comforting presence of God with me as I viewed the memorial. I stood on the very street that Timothy Mc Veigh ran down as he tried to get away. Wickedness does exist in this world. I pray that the grace of God will deliver us from the wickedness that abounds in this world.
God does not want us to endure evil. I hear it over and over until it is maddening. Why would God allow this? He died for us in order to deliver us from this wicked place. Why did God do that? Because He loves us.

Galatians 1:3
Grace be to you and peace from
God the Father, and from our Lord
Jesus Christ,
Who gave Himself for our sins,
that He might deliver us from this
present evil world, according to the
will of God and our Father:
To whom be glory for ever and
ever. Amen.
