Persevere to success

Abraham Lincoln once stated, “My greatest concern is not that you failed, but that you are content with failure”. All of us should keep right on trying to succeed until we do. Most of the “failures” in the world would be successful today if it were not for their lack of perseverance. My favorite all time tidbit of wisdom from an anonymous author is as follows:
Don’t Quit
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, When the road you are trudging seems all uphill, When the funds are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit— Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.
When you are worried and full of doubt,
Just remember that success is failure turned inside out— So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit, It is when things seem worst that you mustn’t quit!

Some things are harder to achieve than others. Those who persevere, especially when the going gets really tough are the ones who do not fail. The Bible teaches that tribulation produces perseverance, so we need to chill out a little when we endure it, knowing that perseverance is necessary for success.
