It is amazing how an ugly looking worm that crawls around on the ground, (caterpillar), is transformed into a beautiful butterfly that floats majestically through the air in splendid beauty. Christians will also get their new bodies and be transformed from something ugly into something beautiful. The Bible states that when we die and join the Lord, we will get a new body, and our new bodies will be “glorified” bodies. As I viewed the sorry looking appearance of my body in the mirror the other day, I took solace in the fact that like the ugly caterpillar, it will be one day be transformed into something glorious. Pretty cool concept, especially to some of us!
