Has anyone ever wronged you? Did you want to get even? I had a tremendous amount of money embezzled from me in the early ’80s and nearly had to take bankruptcy to survive. I very much wanted to get even with those who were involved. In fact I spent nearly two years trying. I did not experience peace until I let it go and forgot about them. The day I made the decision to forget about it and move on, things started getting better the very day I made the decision. I quickly found peace and my business responded immediately to my renewed interest in it.
God states that vengeance belongs to him. We should let him take care of our enemies. I could never get to first base in my attempts to get even. After I quit trying, the ringleader of the employees that were responsible for the theft ended up going bankrupt, he lost everything that he had. His wife left him, taking his two sons with her. He left Atlanta in disgrace. His former friends would not have anything to do with him. His promising career as an “accountant” was over, at least in the Atlanta area. Had he stayed with me, he was heading for a vice presidency with a promising career to look forward to. I wonder if he thinks about that now.
The advice below is tough to do, but very true.

Proverbs 25:21
If your enemy is hungry, give
him bread to eat;
And if he is thirsty, give him
water to drink;
For so you will heap coals of
fire on his head.
And the Lord will reward you.
