I have been going to the movies as of late. It is pretty discouraging.
I
have been having problems finding one that has much content. Just look at some of the choices. “Hannibal” is about a serial killer who murders and then eats people. Nice theme, eh? I decided not to go see this movie. The review said that some folks, mainly small children brought by their PARENTS, were upset over the movie, because in addition to Hannibal killing and eating people, it showed wild hogs eating human remains as well. The ads for it said that 6000 hogs were “auditioned” to find the right Russian boars for this scene. I would not begin to know how to audition a hog for a part in a movie depicting them eating human beings; however, it is obvious that this perverted scene was important to them and was effective, because according to the newspaper the little children who watched this scene, could not sleep after watching it.

“Erin Brokovich” had a good theme about a big company that was sued for polluting the water supply. The problem was the main character, a scantily clad female, was cursing WORSE than a sailor throughout the movie. “Traffic” was about illegal drugs, how they effect users and how they are smuggled into the U.S. It was very realistic and disturbing. Coincidentally when I got home there was a news story about this very subject, only they were smuggling through Miami instead of Mexico..

When I was a small kid, things were much different. Someone would have gone to jail for what they regularly show our kids on “MTV”. It is sad to see our country degenerating before our very eyes. In just one generation, we have gone from TV shows like “Andy Griffith” and movies like “Ole Yeller”, to the most evil deviated junk the perverts of our warped and perverted society can conjure up. Our society is paying a price for our lust for violence, drugs, alcohol and sex. Columbine High School is but one sad example. I don’t have any answers as to what we can do about these problems.
It seems that Christians are vastly outnumbered and the other side has all the cards, such as the Hollywood machine, news media, the ACLU, and much of the government.

God of course is all-powerful, and prayer will help, but all signs point to our heading toward Armageddon. We are racing toward our end. If you are

reading this and have not yet accepted Christ as your Savior, please do so today. I cannot believe that God will let this go on indefinitely. He finally said enough was enough during the times of Noah and again at Sodom and Gomorrah.
The Bible clock always centers around Israel. I believe the sides are being formed right now for that ominous “Mother of all wars.” (Watch the news tonight). The prophecies have been fulfilled, and Jesus could return at any time. Don’t you be left behind!
