Discouraged?

I often get discouraged when I see things like Bill Clinton lying and getting away with it. A sordid TV show like Temptation Island gaining in popularity. A decent man like Ashcroft being chastised because he doesn’t believe in abortion, homosexuality, and is tough on crime.
Football stars like O.J. and the Raven’s “star” Lewis getting away with murder, etc. etc. I wonder why God allows satan so much power over this world and when He will take it away. God tells us not to get discouraged, He is on top of it. I suppose that we should just do our part whenever and wherever we can and leave the rest up to His very capable Hands. The verse below tells it all. There will never be peace in the world, so why worry about it. We can only find it in Jesus, so we should just focus our thoughts and lives on Him and not be discouraged.
