Baffled

President Clinton recently pardoned something like 190 criminals.
Millions of dollars have changed hands, yet he claims he did it because of the “merits of each case”. Among the pardons was a guy convicted and serving time for selling 800 lbs. of cocaine to be used to make crack.
Now that is MERITORIOUS. He also pardoned a fugitive who has committed crimes against our country like trading with our enemies, tax evasion, and money laundering. He also renounced his citizenship. Now that is MERITORIOUS. He also pardoned another convicted felon who was convicted of swindling millions from the public and is currently under investigation for new serious crimes. Again MERITORIOUS!

According to Clinton his poll numbers are still high and he is not worried about the public’s perception of him. He has little reason to worry. After all he got away with Whitewater, the FBI scandal, Monica Lewinski, assorted other charges from females who have come forward saying that he sexually assaulted them, stealing furniture etc. The people of the United States seem mesmerized by this “grifter”. He currently receives over $100,000 per speech from his adoring audiences.
I am convinced that he will again lie his way out of all this and maintain his loyal following until the end just as he has done countless other times throughout his illustrious career. I cannot even imagine how anyone can admire or respect this pitiful excuse for a man. This man held the HIGHEST office in the land. He has the morals of a junkyard dog, the ethics of a common criminal, and wouldn’t begin to know how to tell the truth if it was staring him in the eyes. It is baffling to me that people seem to love this guy. It is also baffling to see the Grammy Awards give their top awards to a rapper whose lyrics, among other things, advocate raping your sister, murdering your mother, and knifing homosexuals. How it must grieve a Holy God to see this kind of idolization of evil. It seems as if evil is everywhere. Turn on the TV and all you see is sex, violence and rage whether or not one is watching the 6:00 news, or regular programming. It is not baffling, it is sickening! Where is this country headed? To judgment, but then there will be peace, so stay the course. (I’m all calm now).
