Some guy wrote me the other day and was lambasting me for my positive comments concerning Donald Trump. Feelings are running high and the beat goes on. Trump seems to be getting the blame for dividing the Republican Party and for that matter the entire country.

Hmmm . . . It seems to me that they were divided long before Trump. In fact President Obama did more to divide us than any other President that I can remember. He’s pitted blacks against whites, wealthy versus poor, old versus young, and even by sexual preference.

Honest talk died a long time before Trump came on the scene. Romney lost the election in large part for saying that 47% of the population are freeloaders and never will vote for change. He got crucified by the press and all the indignant talking heads but he is right.

Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton are running campaigns promising even more free stuff provided all of the leeches and sponges will just vote for them. If they get elected the poor will get poorer and the country will slide further into debt that has become so great that it very likely cannot be repaid.

So now a combination of the ultra-left wing Socialist/communist organizations funded by George Soros, (Moveon.org, Black Lives Matter and Bernie Sanders Socialist Brigade) are trying to disrupt Trump rallies. A black man was showing both his middle fingers to the crowd of Trump supporters and cursing them and one of them hit him. I say bravo! Oh but the media and pundits are railing like chattering jay birds.

Bah! I predict you will see more of the same, because people are sick and tired of these America hating flag burners and aren’t going to take it anymore. People are sick of seeing our country become third rate, our moral values destroyed, and our freedoms taken away. We shouldn’t be allowing our defense to be decimated, or giving aid to countries that hate us, or having open borders where immigrants can overwhelm our already overwhelmed entitlement programs, or be running trade deficits with virtually everyone with whom we trade. Trump simply voices those positions, albeit in a crude fashion.

The lobbyists and lawyers are howling as are others who control the leadership of our country, (the “establishment”). The same goes for the media including Fox. They twist the truth and spin everything to get ratings.

This guy who wrote to me told me he didn’t want someone like Trump to be at the trigger of nukes. Give me a break; he’s built far too many successful businesses to be dumb. In my opinion he is a take no prisoners type leader and tough negotiator and that is what it will take to fight our way out of this mess.

The letter writer told me he would not vote at all if Trump won the nomination. Now to me that is really dumb. You would rather see someone totally corrupt like Hillary Clinton or a Socialist like Bernie Sanders win???? If so we deserve what we get

Millions of people support Trump; in fact the Republican Party has increased its voting rolls by 67% while the Democrats have dropped 23%. Doesn’t that tell anyone that millions upon millions of people are fed up with the politically correct status quo?

I wish Trump were more Godly, but we aren’t hiring a Pastor we’re hiring someone to clean up the mess and run our country like an efficient business. Jerry Falwell Jr. endorsed him and I heard James Robinson say last week in Orlando that all this judging of Trump is ridiculous. I believe Trump is on the verge of a spiritual breakthrough and God just might put him in the office in order that he might come to know the Lord (just like King Cyrus).

I know this column is divisive, but this is America and at least for now we have free speech. So rail if you like, after nearly 18 years I’m used to it. If you disagree that is your right (for now at least).

Isaiah 45:3

God will work through you, Cyrus, that you may know that I, the LORD, who call you by your name, am the God of Israel. For Jacob My servant’s sake, and Israel My elect, I have even called you by your name; I have named you, though you have not known Me. I am the LORD, and there is no other; there is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me. I am the LORD, and there is no other; I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the LORD, do all these things.
