Anytime Israel gets attacked I take notice because you can bet God takes notice. Something like 200 missiles have recently been fired into Israel by the terrorist group Hamas and some went deep into its territory. In fact Jerusalem was hit as was the highly populated city of Tel Aviv.
I’m sure by now our president has found out about all of this, because it has been all over the news. It seems that is where he gets his briefings of world affairs these days; at least according to his spokesmen when asked when and how he heard about the last several major crises that have recently developed in our country.
Not to worry though, be comforted in knowing that he is attending three democratic fundraisers in rapid succession including one $35,000 per couple barbeque gala in Texas. I’m sure he will find time while jetting across the country to formulate a well thought out strategy to assist Israel (our best, most loyal, and one of just a very few of our remaining allies).
His staff announced that while he is in Texas, he will NOT be traveling to the border to personally check on the crisis of tens of thousands of young children who traveled unaccompanied and illegally crossed into our country. Many incidents of molestation and rape have been reported and also cases of kids dying along the way from searing heat and water deprivation, and when they get here they face a humanitarian crisis so serious that no one seems to know how to handle it.
So how do we stop this steady influx and what do we do with those people who are already here? No worries, the president will likely find time to squeeze in a round or two of golf in-between the important work of fund raising and while in the sanctity of the links think up some clever strategy to solve that problem too.
Do I sound disgusted? It is because I am disgusted and frustrated and madder than hell!
One thing of which we can be assured, God has not forgotten Israel at this dangerous time. And He hasn’t forgotten the innocent little children and their treacherous journey who at this very moment are trying to cross dangerous Mexico filled with vicious murderous cartel gangs and get into this country.
God hasn’t forgotten those 58 million babies that have been aborted and we can rest assured that He is keenly aware of the attack on the Little Sisters of the Poor – as being “dirty” by the National Organization of Women, (“NOW”). Those precious Godly nuns whose lives are devoted to hospice and comforting the dying are being listed as being one of NOW’s “Dirty 100” organizations for their opposition to the Obamacare birth control/abortion mandate. The little nuns’ sin that makes them dirty, of course, is challenging the Obama administration’s authority to force them to offer contraception and birth control coverage to employees that contradicts centuries-old Catholic doctrine and their spiritual conscience about the sanctity of human life.
Yep God is keenly aware of all of this and the gay marriage issue, legalization of drugs, Christians being murdered and even crucified in countries all over the world, and everything else that is transpiring in this world at this precise moment. It would be a safe bet to assume that God is not attending galas and He is not playing golf and I suspect that He is mad as hell too.
He is sitting on His throne listening to martyrs petition Him 24/7 to avenge them, (which I believe includes those 58 million babies). Only one thing holds back His judgment and that my friends is a loving desire to save us from our dark sins.
The Bible tells us that His patience will expire at a time when no one expects, and at last He will say, ENOUGH!
Then it will be too late. He has given us signs of the times in His holy Bible of when this might occur and make no mistake we are living in those times now.
We are commanded not to act like our elected leader and stuff on barbeque and beer and mingle with the rich and famous and the beautiful people as though life is a bed of roses that will continue forever; we are to be vigilant and work tirelessly to preach the Gospel and disciple and plant as many seeds as possible in order that people might be saved before the veil is lifted and the church joins its groom . . .
There is a heavy price that will be paid for what we are allowing our country to become and rest assured God will judge this nation and this world for its sins. Please go to work for Jesus while there is yet some time . . .
