The Renewal of America’s two day Prayer Meeting has concluded. The intense prayer that was poured out by prayer warriors at this summit for the launch of this important movement was absolutely amazing.
Our effort was not in vain for God’s glorious presence bathed and filled us with His Holy Spirit, and there can be no doubt that He has already begun paving the way and clearing obstacles for this important movement.
And now it begins – the Renewal of America movement is officially underway.
As can only be called divinely appropriate, at last night’s banquet Vonette Bright, (wife of the late great evangelist and founder of Campus Crusade for Christ Bill Bright), was the very first person to officially log onto the website and become a part of the Renewal of America Christian Believers Alliance. Vonette is 88 years old today, and after she signed up at last night’s banquet, we celebrated her birthday with cake and song.
Those of you who have been anxiously awaiting this day’s arrival may now signup on version one of our new website, www.RenewalofAmerica.org – It takes less than 30 seconds to take a stand for Jesus Christ and I encourage you to do so, and know that by so doing you will be a part of “fundamentally transforming America”.
Together we can reverse the downward spiral and direction that our country has been heading and put her on a course towards renewal of faith in this nation. When we do, God will forgive us, and bless us yet again.
In just a couple of days we will celebrate our country’s independence on the 4th of July. The current direction our country is heading is not what our forefathers envisioned. In fact if they could see how low we as a nation have allowed this great country to sink, they’d be flipping in their graves. On the other hand if they could see the movement that has begun they would without question be proud.
As I thought of this today, I could not help but smile as I envisioned almighty God looking down upon us. I know He is pleased and I know that He is not done with America. One of our attendees told us that He had a vision and saw God standing on a dock welcoming everyone aboard a sailboat. Shortly thereafter we set sail and as we looked ahead, God began gently but firmly blowing the sails of our sailboat forward.
Without doubt this is a confirmation from God Himself that we have God’s great wind at our back. Please join us as we set sail to begin to change the world. Why not sign up right now (while you’re thinking about it) and then encourage everyone within your sphere of influence to do likewise.
Please keep the faith and don’t be overwhelmed by the task ahead of us. Our part of this equation of joining together is miniscule compared to the steady gentle wind supplied by the Lord that will move us through the deep blue beautiful waters that lie ahead. Rest and be encouraged knowing that this is God’s vision and His movement, He will be at the helm steering us towards our destination which is victory in Jesus Christ.
Pray to Him and continue to do so at every opportunity. May God bless you and may God bless America as we renew our faith in Him!
