Beautiful feet/stink to high heaven – that is the question

Abortionists are gleeful this morning because an anti-abortion bill in Texas was narrowly defeated yesterday when Democrat Senator Wendy Davis from Fort Worth mounted a successful filibuster and narrowly avoided a vote on the bill that would have all but stopped abortions in Texas.

Today the Supreme Court weighs the legalities of gay marriage in two cases. Homosexuals, President Obama and his supporters, and an adoring press anxiously await their turn to celebrate if and when gay marriage is endorsed by the highest court of this land.

Sixty three million babies have been murdered by abortionists in this country and their evil practice will be allowed to continue unabated in Texas. A sin, (homosexuality), referred to in the Bible as an “abomination” is now poised to become legal and legitimized in our country.

Sigh . . . Two more nails are being driven into the wrists of Jesus and the coffin of this country.

Prayer and the Ten Commandments have already been taken out of our schools, the government is removing “In God we trust” from our currency, “So help me God” is being removed from the judicial swearing in process, we cannot put crosses in our military cemeteries or mention the name of Jesus in a eulogy at a military funeral, and pornography is considered free speech.

Slowly but surely God is being removed from our society. What is right is wrong and what is wrong is right. I wonder what God must think of our country.

Not really, I’m a good enough Bible scholar to already know the answer to that question. God is not happy and He is removing His hand from us. The United States has been blessed as no other country since Israel. He blessed us because regardless of the lie the revisionists who are successfully changing history books are trying to perpetuate, our country was founded as “one nation under God”. Our founders loved God and established this country recognizing that God is supreme.

Read your Bible and you’ll find that Israel was greatly blessed too until she turned her back on God. When she did, she fell from God’s grace and was spurned and persecuted by every nation. In my new book I detail end time prophecies and I will assure you that we are living in those days. Just like the days of Noah and Sodom evil is replacing good worldwide and many people’s hearts have grown cold.

There is a glimmer of hope and we should pray for it. The Bible clearly tells us that God will bless the United States again, but only if she turns back to Him. If we continue down the path of turning our backs on God, then He will continue to lift His hand from our great country and turn His back on us.

Think about it. How could He do otherwise?  He is holy and cannot tolerate sin and when an entire nation endorses the things He states are wrong, He cannot bless it.

We are no longer the greatest country in the world and other countries now thumb their noses at us and deride our weakness as with the Snowden example with Russia and China, not to mention two bit countries like Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, and others.

If you want to see the Bible come alive, read the headlines and then read Daniel, Isaiah, and Revelation.

If you have family or friends that have not turned to God, then intensify your efforts to witness to them while you can. I feel such a burden for lost souls who are muddling along conducting business as usual. It’s like seeing a train racing towards a gorge with a bridge out. I hate that they will lose their souls for eternity. Do you genuinely share that concern and burden for the lost, even, (or especially if), you don’t know them or respect them very much as in the case of the poor, prisoners, homosexuals, adulterers, or whatever?

If you don’t have a burden for them, what does that say about your walk? Without concern we are not Christlike . . .

Every Christian is commanded by God to preach the Gospel. How do you preach the Gospel? By simply telling someone how you got saved. It’s that simple. We are SINNERS and Jesus is the SAVIOR. Salvation happens when a person acknowledges their guilt of sin, and comes to God on that basis; believing on Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God, to forgive their sins.

Salvation is as simple as walking through a door. Jesus said in John 10:9, “I am the door: by me if any man enter in he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”

Speaking of walk, think about your feet. It is interesting that God calls the feet of those who spread the Gospel “beautiful.” God could have called the lips beautiful, but he said, “the feet.” Why the feet? It’s because it is with one’s feet that we carry the Gospel of Jesus to lost sinners. Do you have beautiful feet, or do they stink to high heaven?

Romans 10:15

“And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!”
