So it looks like our government is engaged in Watergate style deceitful, underhanded behavior. The Benghazi raid on Libya was mischaracterized to the American people in a manner reminiscent of North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, or some other two bit communist/dictatorship propaganda spewing country.
In other words our country’s leaders flat out lied to us!
I watched with interest as it has now has been revealed that the administration knew all along that the raid that killed four brave and patriotic Americans including our Ambassador was propagated by Al Qaeda terrorists and that information was kept secret in order to help the President’s re-election bid.
The CIA then under the leadership of General Petraeus originally issued an accurate recap of what happened and why, and the Obama administration changed it 12 times in order to make it appear that the attack was a spontaneous demonstration over a video instead of an organized terrorist raid conducted 9/11, (makes me sick).
Now that the actual e-mails have been published and the whistleblowers have blown the whistle, they are still lying about it and trying to paint it as a political attack on their next presidential hopeful their darling Hillary Clinton.
Lies on top of more lies and many stupid people in this country believe it.
Simultaneously we learn now that the IRS has been targeting any organization with the words “Tea Party” or “Patriot” in their name. The administration is claiming that these IRS agents were just rogue IRS agents in one city; however the evidence states that since day one it’s been an orchestrated widespread attack against political enemies and IRS offices all over the country have been engaged in it.
I don’t care if you’re a Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Independent or whatever, this should send chills up your spine. Will there come a day when speaking out against abortion, homosexuality, lying, corruption in high places, and other sin makes us a target of our own government?
It already has my friends. I’m no conspiracy nut, but I’m not sticking my head in the sand and being naïve either.
At church yesterday I spoke of a time when I’d given up all hope of ever changing my life. From my perspective I could see no way out of my predicament. I stated “I can never change; the only way anything will change for me is to die”. I was mistaken, (because without question I changed). So I was wrong on that count, but I was right on another in that “I” could not institute that change alone. Jesus Christ had to come into my life in order to make that happen.
The same thing needs to happen right here in the good old USA. Our situation in this country can only change if its citizens return to the Lord as “One nation under God”. Our founders realized it, but our government is now rewriting history to take that part out.
Nothing built on lies, deceit, and corruption can stand; not a country, business, or a relationship. Am I saying that this country could fall?
Absolutely!
I have lived long enough to see a much better America and I see her spiraling down. Will she pop back up? Only if we return to God, and we will never get there following leaders that lie.
According to the Bible satan is the “Father of all lies”. Jesus put it best: “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” John 8:44
So we are up against a cunning foe. What will become of us? Jesus had an interesting answer in Matt. 10:16: “Behold I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves”. Hmmm . . . Was he telling us that we should emulate that old serpent of old when he said, “be as shrewd as snakes?”
Shrewd means: Astute, sharp, smart, perceptive, discerning, insightful, wise, clever, intelligent, cunning, sensible, judicious, and on the ball – the opposite of naïve!!!!
Does this sound like the American public and the voters of this land?
As we read the rest of this passage He states: ”But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will whip you in their synagogues; And you shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them . . .
Jesus suffered that fate and when it comes to that we would do well to emulate Him.
So should I continue to speak out even if government agencies come shut my business/ministry/websites down using lies and trumped up charges and possibly throw me in jail?
Yes, I should speak out and yes I probably will suffer those consequences someday unless things somehow change. We cannot fight satan alone. Pray for deliverance and do what you can . . .
