Where is Hendrix now?

I’ve turned into somewhat of an atheist magnet of late. It seems that in the last couple of months that I’ve encountered more atheists than in the last several years. It’s as if I attract them like a magnet, or insects to a light. I’m getting worn down arguing with them.

The Bible states that any man who says that there is no God is a fool.
It also tells us that it’s written in every man’s heart to know God.

I don’t believe that many people are pure atheists. There are more agnostics than atheists. Agonostics don’t deny the existence of a God; instead they simply don’t know what they believe and many don’t want anyone preaching to them about it either. That great “philosopher” of the 60’s Jimi Hendrix once sang lyrics that seem to sum up this defiant attitude:

“I’m the one who has to die when it’s my time, so let me live my life the way I want to”

Jimi Hendrix indeed lived his life the way he wanted to and for a while he enjoyed everything that satan had to offer him including sex, drugs, booze, and the adulation that goes along with being a rock star. He waved his freak flag high, and then died alone choking and drowning on his own vomit after taking an overdose of drugs, and then he faced what was next.

Where is Jimi Hendrix now? Where will you and I be when we die?

The Bible states that without the blood of Jesus covering his sins he will suffer unbearable agony in Hell, all alone in darkness, where he will remain for eternity.

That is the somber thought that goes through my mind every time I hear one of his songs.

We are put on this earth with a free will. We choose how to live our life and we are given complete freedom to either accept or reject Jesus Christ as our Savior. Don’t take that decision lightly.

Our life on this earth is so brief and yet so vitally important for eons to come. It pays for everyone to take a break from our fast paced world and reflect on this subject for a moment and consider eternity and where we will be spending it. Why not stop what you are doing right now wherever you are just for five minutes and do just that?

Jesus states unequivocally below, all must come to God and ultimately enter heaven through the narrow gate of Jesus Christ or face eternal separation; that is the Christian message.

Atheists and agnostics wear me down, but I will rest and keep working on them. Eternity is forever. I pray that God will use you and me somehow to influence others whereby more will find the narrow way rather than the broad path to destruction…

Matthew 7:13

Enter by the narrow gate; for

wide is the gate and broad is the way

that leads to destruction, and there

are many who go in by it?

Because narrow is the gate and

difficult is the way which leads to

life, and there are few who find it.
