Please the boss

Most everyone wants to please their boss. Good things can happen if one does; bad things can happen if it goes the other way. God is the boss to whom we all report. He is the Supreme Commander in Chief.
Personally I hate to let Him down, although a day never passes whereby I do just that. I am determined to do a better job.

There are many things that please God. Most importantly accepting His only Son, Jesus Christ, as your personal Savior. The Bible states that there is joy in heaven whenever a sinner accepts Jesus as their Savior.
You made God happy and, I’m sure, proud when you took that first step into the aisle to go down and publicly acknowledge that you are not ashamed of Jesus, and you have put your trust in Him to care for you for all of eternity.

Aside from becoming a Christian, there are many things that you can do to please Him. Leading others to Christ, resisting temptation, offering thankful prayers, keeping the Sabbath holy and so on. I hope that everyone will take a moment this morning and think about this. That is right; slow down…Think about this…It will only take a few moments…Now carefully consider how you can please the Boss “today”.
