I have entered into a zone I call the downward spiral. It seems that when trapped in the downward spiral one bad event leads to another, and then to another, and so on as one spirals down, down, down. Hopefully in the end things will change and I will “pop back up” and better times will roll in.
I am a little ashamed to even mention my small string of problems. I once read a bumper sticker that said, “When you talk bad about the farmer, don’t talk with your mouth full”. I have feelings like that as I think of all of the blessings that God has recently heaped upon me in comparison to my relatively minor problems. Some of the good things of late are that “both’ of my beautiful little granddaughters have learned to call me “papaw”, and much to my delight run all over the house driving everyone, (but me) crazy as they say papaw, papaw, papaw, over and over and over again, even when I am not present! Another tremendous blessing that happened was that our great company was named last week as the successful contestant in its bid to win the multi-million dollar contract for the second largest school district in the entire country Los Angeles County Public School District. The best thing that happened however, and by far the most important, was that I introduced someone to Christ just two days ago and he was most appreciative and has even promised to read the Bible and study it in earnest.
What were the bad things to which I referred? Hmmm Now that I think about it, they really are not that important
Psalm 43:3
Oh send out Your light and Your
truth! Let them lead me; let them
bring me to Your holy hill and to
Your tabernacle
