I am going on vacation this weekend for nearly two weeks and will not have access to the Internet. So you get a couple of weeks off from WFTD; unless of course you wish to go to the website and view them. Better it would be an ideal time to begin your Bible study. Take the time you would ordinarily read WFTD and read a chapter or two in the Bible.
Don’t worry what someone might think if you have an open Bible on your desk; I have had one on my desk for years and not one person has ever said anything negative about it, and if they had I would not have cared anyway. We should live our faith daily and be proud to witness for Jesus Christ. I’m proud to be a Christian and hope you feel likewise.
There are many ways to witness for Christ. I have a buddy in Jacksonville that has made it his mission in life to see that anyone he comes in contact with is given a little gold cross that can be worn. He must have given away tens of thousands of these crosses by now and is still going strong. He buys them in huge quantities in big plastic bags. If he ever saw me at church not wearing one, he would come over and pin one on me and tell me that I was out of uniform. I have had many an opportunity to witness to people who inquire about those little crosses when they see me wearing one on my lapel when I am on a plane or otherwise out in public. I appreciate his giving them to me to this day.
I will be crossing the Florida straits in my boat tomorrow and ask that you pray for a safe voyage for me and my crew. Most of my family including my precious twins will fly to the Bahamas in a small plane to meet me there and I ask that you pray for their safe journey as well. I will fish for several days and have fellowship with my awesome family. Almost like being in heaven for a day or two. WFTD will resume when I return. In the meantime open those Bibles. God will bless you for it.
Romans 8:14
For as many as are led by the
Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
WFTD to stop -temporarily anyway
