I read an interesting passage that a reader sent me from The American Minute – Valentine’s Day that helps explain what is occurring in our country.
“The St. Valentine’s Day Massacre occurred in 1929 during the Prohibition era. Al Capone’s Chicago mob murdered seven members of Bugs Moran’s Irish gang.
Accompanying Al Capone’s hitman Frank Nitti as he terrorized neighborhoods was the young Saul Alinsky, who later adapted this technique into the political tactic of community organizing.
Saul Alinsky wrote in Rules for Radicals (1971):
“The organizer must first rub raw the resentments of the people of the community . . . stir up dissatisfaction and discontent . . . search out controversy and issues . . . fan the latent hostilities of many of the people to the point of overt expression . . . For unless there is controversy, the people are not motivated enough to act.”
Hillary Clinton was good friends with Saul Alinsky and wrote her thesis about him. Former President Obama taught his community organizing techniques prior to being elected to the Senate and later the presidency. They among other liberal progressives have adopted Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals as their guide for “fundamentally changing America”.
Incidentally if you have never read that book I encourage you to do so. After reading it you will better understand what is currently underway with progressives, the biased media, and the liberal elite who have adopted his techniques as their own.
Not surprisingly the dedication to the book is to Lucifer:
Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins — or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.
— SAUL ALINSKY
So, the media and the progressives fueled by billions are determined to “first rub raw the resentments of the people of the community . . . stir up dissatisfaction and discontent . . . search out controversy and issues . . . fan the latent hostilities of many of the people to the point of overt expression . . . ”
The hysteria that is being generated is so illogical as to be an enigma. Lucifer built his kingdom based upon lies and half-truths and thus mankind fell. He is still hard at work and I’m sure he is happy with the splendid results he is achieving.
I saw a clip of some high school students that left school to protest and they were shouting slogans and so forth as they marched down the streets of NYC. When a reporter asked them questions about their slogans not even one of them even knew what they were protesting.
Ugh . . .
Watch the news on any station at any time of day and you will see it first-hand. I urge you to pray for our country. It is in real danger of anarchy as professional protestors taunt and intimidate the citizenry.
One time I drove to a meeting in Orlando and stopped at a Burger King. I watched a young man about 35 start screaming at his little boy who was dressed in tattered clothes and in bad need of a haircut. Suddenly he grabbed the boy and started violently shaking him and then he grabbed him by his hair with his left hand and viciously slapped him with his right. It sounded like the crack of a .22 caliber rifle when he hit the youngster.
I went over to him and hit him as hard as I could right in the nose and knocked him to the floor. I stood over him with both fists clinched and told him he thought he was really tough beating up a 30 lb. kid and challenged him to get back up and try it with someone his own size. The coward chose to remain sitting on the floor trying to stop the bleeding from his broken nose. Finally, several onlookers convinced me to let it go and I returned to my burger and fries and glared at him as I stuffed fries into my mouth. He slowly got up and without even looking my way told the little boy, “Come on Tommy let’s go.” The little child was crying, and I could see that punk’s hand print on his cheek. I felt like following him outside for round 2 but maintained control.
So, okay I lost my temper and a good Christian shouldn’t be fighting, right? Bah, I guess I’m not a good Christian when it comes to watching some idiot beat up a little kid in front of me and not doing anything about it, like the rest of the people in the restaurant. I went down that road in my early life and will be damned if I will sit by and do nothing when I see it happening.
Ugh . . .
I am reminded of the Bibles description of Nehemiah and his crew building the WALL in Nehemiah 4:18 – Those who were rebuilding the wall and those who carried burdens took their load with one hand doing the work and the other holding a weapon. I chose the weapon of my fists, but as a Christian I understand that our sword is the Word of God.
So, it is a fair question, should I have quoted Scripture to the man who was publicly beating his son and tried to reason with him? Should we allow anarchists to beat us up and turn the other cheek when they attack innocent people or who support a candidate they don’t like? Or should we keep a sword by our side while we build a wall to keep our enemies out like Nehemiah did?
Interesting . . .
There would be no America without the blood sacrifice of our brave soldiers. Evil people would overtake us within days. American citizens would be goose-stepping to Hitler or some other dictator and Christians would be exterminated without the willingness of brave men and women to fight for our freedom. I’m not advocating bloody riots, but I am saying that we need to boldly stand up to the bully minority in this country that oppose virtually everything decent and wholesome.
Just saying . . .
Neh. 4:13
. . . then I stationed men in the lowest parts of the space behind the wall, the exposed places, and I stationed the people in families with their swords, spears and bows.
