Bundles of joy

Grandchildren are on the way and I am excited. I have been wondering what they will be like. My sons are pretty much opposite personalities and one can hardly tell they are brothers from being around them. But since my son and daughter in law are expecting twins I wonder if the twin girls will be more alike. I wonder if they will be smart and good looking like their grandfather, (calm down – just kidding). I wonder what they will achieve in life and I sincerely hope I live long enough to see how they turn out.

My strongest desire for them and sincere hope is that they will love the Lord with all of their hearts as He loves them. The Bible has much to say about God loving children and knowing children before they are born and still in the womb. He designs each of us in the manner that he desires and it is planned out far in advance. This is all the more reason to keep the pressure on against abortion. I have looked at the sonogram images of these babies and they are anything but fetuses. They move around, suck their thumb, yawn, kick and squirm, and peacefully sleep. They are children fashioned by God. No doctor, mother, or father has the right to take the life of an unborn child. If the child is not desired by the natural parents there are plenty of good people ready and willing to adopt.

I cannot wait to see my grandbabies in person! And no I will not spoil them….Not!
