I tell you what, it is hot and humid in Mississippi! I went for my walk and nearly passed out from the scorching heat. Heck just a few weeks ago I was praying for some warm weather. God obliged but didn’t have mercy on quitting with it. I guess we will never get things quite the way we want, so I am resolved just to take the hot with the cold. In fact, days like today make me want to see winter ushered in ASAP.
I like the warm weather, but this ridiculous. Need a few changes now and then. The sad thing about it is that all those people who have been condemned to hell will never get used to the and horrors of hell. It consists of loneliness. Fire screams of agony, and there will be no winter – Ever! As I was on my walk, I thought about their eternal home. It is sad that they don’t trust Jesus enough to accept Him as their Savior. Rest assured that without Jesus as their advocate they will be relentlessly punished for their sins, make no mistake about it
Many people don’t want to talk about hell. Actually, it is Jesus in the Bible that talked about hell more than anyone. So I am in good company. He doesn’t want to lose a single soul to Satan and warns of what it is like. But alas without Jesus one must account for their sins alone. It is your choice and mine. I watched our preacher preach his heart out this morning and as usual not a single person walked down the aisle to make a life changing commitment. If not now, then when will the decision be made? WE NEED TO WORK HARDER FOR THE TIME IS SHORT.
