When you were in school or if you are currently in school, wouldn’t it be wonderful to receive an advance copy of your final exam. Well you are in school and I’m going to furnish you with some questions that will be on it. Check it out:
How long since you have attended church? Read the Bible? Told someone else about Jesus? Been on your knees in fervent prayer? Do sin and the lusts of this age reign in your life? Is God the highest priority in your life? Is He a priority at all? Can those who know you, recognize that you are a Christian by observing your behavior? Have you ever publicly accepted Christ as your savior? Been baptized afterwards? If you were to die today, are you sure beyond a shadow of a doubt that you would spend eternity in heaven with God? Do you believe that you are living as God wants you to live? Do you believe that God sees and hears everything that you think, do, or say? Are you happy or sad about that?
Are you uncomfortable with these questions? Think about this, one day soon a mighty and awesome God who sent His Son to die a terrible death for you will be asking you some of those same questions at judgment? What are you going to tell Him? Too busy? Other things more important? I’ve been meaning to get around to it, but just haven’t had time?
He already know what you have and have not done and you will have to answer truthfully. Will you spend eternity regretting that you had the opportunity on earth, but you were too busy for God?
Is there someone you know who needs to hear about God? Would they go to church with you if you asked them to go with you? Would they read a Bible if you gave them one? What are you waiting for?
John 4:34

“My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me,
and to finish His work.
Do you not say,
‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’?
Behold I say to you,
lift up your eyes and look at the fields,
for they are already white for harvest!
And he who reaps receives wages
and gathers fruit for eternal life
that both he who sows and he
who reaps may rejoice together.”
