I have been thinking about our computer software company’s primary support problem, file corruption. A computer programmer carefully and laboriously writes a software program that goes thru extensive testing in both alpha and beta test situations. The programmer’s capable assistant writes detailed instructions of how to use the program. After its final completion the program works perfectly and the programmer sits back with a satisfied smile and enjoys seeing their creation operate according to the careful design.
Then along comes a user who decides to ignore the firm instructions as to how to use the program and goes ahead and does something contrary to the carefully laid out instructions (and human logic) and turns off the computer without exiting properly. This causes corruption of the data. Now the file is no longer in a-b-c-d order, instead it is filed a-d-c-b. Now the user runs the program and, ain’t it funny, but the computer looks for D and cannot find it because it is no longer where it is supposed to be. The user becomes irate and calls the computer programmer. The smile disappears as he gets lambasted for designing such an inferior product. The programmer explains that the user did not follow the instructions that are so clearly laid out. The user goes up the ladder and even talks to the beleaguered President of the company and gets the same advice. The user angrily hangs up and blames the computer program, the company, any and everything but themselves. It’s a mess!
God designed His creation to work perfectly. The Garden of Eden was just such a setting. Mankind was warned not to disregard instructions and did so anyway. Satan brought sin to the scene and corrupted the system. Now mankind is forever trying to blame God for all of their problems when in reality they are caused by sin’s corruption. It’s a mess!
His system is perfect. We need to look within when life malfunctions.
The good news is that God created a “fix”. His name is Jesus.

John 6:38
For I have come down from
heaven, not to do My own will,
but the will of Him who sent Me…
And this is the will of Him who
sent Me, that everyone who sees the
Son and believes in Him may have
everlasting life; and I will raise him
up at the last day.
