I admire Elon Musk and when he purchased Twitter I signed up. But I was deeply disappointed in recent days to learn that he is going to step down whenever he finds someone in his words,  “foolish enough to serve as CEO”. I knew it would be a dogfight when he took over and he began to put the brakes on the world’s largest and most influential liberal bastion of hate propaganda machine. They came after him with their entire arsenal.

I felt if anyone could hold up to the onslaught it would be him. Sadly, his family, companies, character, et al have been savagely attacked and I suppose his goal of establishing Twitter as a place where different points of view could be freely expressed even if they contradicted liberal speech police was not as important as those aspects of his life. I can’t blame him really.

He is a brilliant man and perhaps the savviest technology/business entrepreneur genius to come along since Thomas Edison and Henry Ford. I can understand that having achieved milestones like becoming the world’s richest man that his desire to do something good for this world would drive him to this point. He has done more to help climate change than any person on earth with his Tesla cars and has put untold numbers of satellites in outer space to provide internet service to locales that don’t have access, like the location in Mississippi in which I live and Ukraine where his communications satellite array is being used to combat communist Russia. He is currently involved in making chips that can be surgically implanted in the brains of blind people that will enable them to see, something near and very dear to my own heart. He has a company that can bore holes large enough to create underground tunnels to alleviate traffic. His mind never stops, and his work ethic is off the charts.

As I pondered this today, I think about all the folks in the world who have great potential that keep it buried like a pot of gold. They accomplish nothing in life and have not one scintilla of ambition. What a waste. My mind always goes to spiritual goals, and I think of Martin Luther, Charles Spurgeon, and the reverend Billy Graham and what they achieved for the Lord, and how I wish an anointed spiritual leader would emerge to lead a great revival. With God anything is possible, but I think, barring direct intervention from Him, it might be too late for mere flesh and blood to withstand the mighty forces of evil roaming this earth in these last days.

The Bible predicts with certainty that the world will become more and more evil with each passing day. It is described in 1 Timothy 3:1 – For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud,  blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God . . . Sounds like reading the news to me.

So how do we cope with it?

Those who hesitate to offer testimony because of our society’s WOKE inhabitants should adhere to what Paul told Timothy, Therefore, do not be ashamed of the testimony of the Lord . . . Followers of Christ are given something our adversaries can only dream about.

1 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
