Yesterday I flew into Portland Oregon. It is a beautiful city, however, on the ride out of town to the countryside we saw homeless camps with trash and litter strewn all over the sides of the road. Not since I was in India have I seen such a disgusting mess. It is akin to a third-world country.
My son who lives nearby told me if you go downtown, you can witness people sitting on the curb and shooting up heroin and using other drugs in addition to boarded-up buildings with graffiti. It is violent and nasty and yet the Democrats who allow it are still in office and get re-elected every year. Are the voters here deaf, dumb, and blind? Or have they become brainwashed by our illustrious scumbag mainstream media outlets?
I was reading Next Door, an application that is limited to the local news of our community and it was reported that six immigrants landed illegally in our neighborhood:
The comments from some of my neighbors were mind-bending. The thread started just fine but then the ignoramus monkeys had their turn:
Imagine the desperation they must feel under 62-years of communist dictators to make the crossing in that makeshift raft! After risking their lives for freedom, they are returned. Ironically, those that can find the means, go to Mexico in order to enter through the Southern border. It is hard to understand such double standards.
It’s Politics! God-fearing, hard-working Cubans are not allowed in after risking their lives coming across the Ocean in vessels like this, but God knows who and from where, is free to walk across our borders with no fear of being returned or harmed.
Now come the monkeys with their ignorant comments:

How can anyone in their right mind say such a thing? How can anyone agree with it? Democrats hate communism??? Lol – LOL – Lol
Geez, is this person living under a rock? As with any political party not all people adhere to the party line, (so there is my disclaimer for Democrats who dislike what is going on regarding this issue in their party,) but it is undeniable that avowed socialists and Marxists do exist in large numbers in the Democratic Party and none exist in the Republican Party and Democrats are dramatically increasing,) and they are overtly led by Democrats. That genie is out of the bottle now.
This thread in Next Door is indicative of useful idiots, (a naive or credulous person who can be manipulated or exploited to advance a cause or political agenda). They blindly follow like sheep going to the slaughter.
Folks the reason Cubans who are trying to escape communism are returned to Cuba and we have open borders for the rest of those wishing to enter our country illegally is that Cubans generally vote Republican, and the others blindly vote Democrat in mass. As the lady said above, it is politics plain and simple.
God warns us that this and other behavior contrary to His teachings will occur in the End Times – 2 Tim. 3 – But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. Key to this verse for this conversation is found in the last sentence. “having the appearance of godliness,” The foremost plank in communism is the removal of worship. Just look to China to see it manifested.
Ah but we are not to be concerned for these things must occur. Our job is to obey Scripture which tells us that we must always be ready to tell others the good news. We must be prepared as Paul writes in 2 Timothy 4:2, “Preach the word. Be ready to do it whether it is convenient or inconvenient. Correct, confront, and encourage with patience and instruction . . . ” I admit I fail in the patience category, but I will go to my grave boldly preaching the Gospel as best I know how, and I ask for the sake of my children and grandchildren that you will do the same.
