I’m getting kind of sick of the uncertainty and depression over current events. I’m also sick of trying to understand people like the Taliban.
I’m sick of trying to understand why God allows them to have their moment. I look to the Bible for comfort. I came across this verse this morning and after reading it I am convinced that I, as well as a multitude of other people, need to take a timeout to put our faith totally in God who is our hope, and to concentrate on the main thing that separate Christians from non-Christians and that is love. The Taliban and others like them are devoid of it. They only hate. The Bible tells us for now that we will not be able to understand it, but one day we will be face to face with almighty God and He will make all known to us. Until that day Christians must have complete faith in Him, rest in His hope, and continue to be a beacon for God’s love shining on a hate-filled world.

1Cor.13:12
For now we see in a mirror,
dimly, but then face to face. Now I
know in part, but then I shall know
just as I am also known.
And now abide faith, hope, love,
these three; but the greatest of these
is love.
Faith, hope and love
