Rest in the Lord

I don’t know about you but I’m tired of hearing all this stuff about terrorists and what they might do. Apparently they intend to hit America again within the next few days. The FBI has put out an alert and we are to be vigilante. What will they hit next? A school, hospital, CNN, subway, ocean liner, football stadium? What kind of panic will it spread? How many people are too afraid to come out of their homes. What should we do? According to the Bible we should not worry, nor fret, rather we should rest in the Lord!

Psalm 37:7
Rest in the Lord and wait
patiently for Him;
Do not fret because of him who
prospers in his way.
Because of the man who brings
wicked schemes to pass.
Cease from anger, and forsake
wrath;
Do not fret – it only causes
harm.
For evildoers shall be cut off;
But those who wait on the
Lord,
They shall inherit the earth,
For yet a little while and the
wicked shall be no more.
But the meek shall inherit the
earth,
And shall delight themselves in
the abundance of peace.
