It is depressing to watch the news. All they talk about is terrorists, Anthrax, wars, murders, all sorts of depravity at its worst. It is doubly depressing to see some of these characters apparently getting away with their evil acts, while good people like the firefighters and police lose their lives, and their families suffer.
Rest assured the evil-doers will get their just due and God will ultimately make right what was wrong. Until then we can only grit our teeth and bear it and keep the faith. The Bible teaches that God is “long-suffering” and patiently waits, not wanting anyone to face eternal separation from Him. It also states, however, that God will not be mocked, and that there will definitely be a day of reckoning. We should always emulate God. That means we should be long-suffering too, and patiently, prayerfully await God’s decision as to when enough becomes ENOUGH, and He returns for His children.
Paradise is right around the corner. No sadness, sorrow, trouble, death, crying, or evil will ever bother us again. Look to that day that will last forever, instead of this one, which is quickly passing away.
And remember that God is delaying things in order for more people to come to Him. Why not tell someone today about what God has done for you and what He will do for them. You just might be the spark that sets them on fire for Jesus.

Romans 14:11
For it is written, As I live saith
the Lord, every knee shall bow to
me, and every tongue shall confess
to God.
So then every one of us shall
give account of himself to God.
Yet for a while
