Fear can be a life altering problem. Too many people allow fear of the unknown to completely dictate their lives. God designed things whereby we cannot see what is around the corner for our lives. Undoubtedly, He did this so we would rely on Him. God, who CAN see around the corner, will keep us safe, provided we will put our complete trust and faith in Him.
God gave us everything we need to survive in this world. When we combine our God given attributes with trusting faith in Him, we have nothing to fear but fear itself . . .
Being a risk taker in business and life I’ve lived on the edge for many years. It has been my deep and abiding faith in our Lord that has removed fear from my life. Many times I’ve been confronted with life’s situations that looked like impending disaster was poised to strike; however, when it appeared as if they might end in a catastrophe for my wife and me, be it our health, financial situation or otherwise, I would always smile and tell her, “Don’t worry, something will turn up,” and it always has.
God has always taken good care of us and I know that He will never change. I have long believed that one should spend their time working on solutions to problems and/or praying about them, rather than wasting that time on fear and worry which does absolutely nothing to resolve even the tiniest of problems and is only good for damaging our health which makes Satan gleeful.
If you have fears in your life today, consider that nothing is too big for almighty God to overcome. He loves you enough to have sent His Son from His glorious home in heaven to die a brutal death on a cross for you and me. The Bible is emphatic that God is not going to ever leave us; there is no reason to fear anything. Indeed, the Bible tells us that the very hairs on our heads are numbered and that we were bought at a great price. Have faith in His word! Trust in Him to deliver you from your fears. And remember fear is a wild demonic spirit that can be tamed through faith which endows us with power and of love and a sound mind.
2 Tim. 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Have a great weekend and go to church this Sunday!
