As protesters around the country are demanding that communities “defund the police” even as shootings of children pile up in New York, Chicago, Atlanta and other liberal cities run by Democrats, Joe Biden declared he would “absolutely” be on board with redirecting police budgets to fund other Democrat priorities.
It is astonishing to me that Joe Biden is running ahead of President Trump in polls. I read this morning that two recent polls from Reuters show the gap narrowing over the last four weeks as a backlash grows against the Leftist mob. I pray it continues.
I believe that in spite of polls most Americans support the police and want safe streets. They are also proud of their country and disagree with Biden’s assertion that we are a “profoundly racist” nation. Geez the last President was African American for crying out loud. Americans recognize our country’s faults but also celebrate her virtues and her history. I predict that as Biden caters to the most progressive wing of his party and repudiates America’s greatness, he will be defeated.
That is if the liberal press and social media giants don’t repress his genuine worldview. I along with countless other Americans have been sickened by the cave-ins of CEO’s, actresses, politicians etc. who made the grave mistake of having said something that goes against the socialist line and then quickly apologized for it. A top executive got fired from Boeing for expressing an opinion 30 years ago when he was a fighter pilot that women pilots might not could handle combat missions. A young mother was shot and killed for saying that all lives matter instead of black lives matter. The top Hispanic CEO of Goya foods was crucified by the press for praising Trump. To Kill a Mockingbird, Huckleberry Finn, Gone with the Wind and other literary masterpieces are being banned. Police television series that have run for over a decade are being cancelled because they show the police in a good light. Statues are being torn down, holidays being cancelled, people fired, police being battered, looting, arson, shootings, flag burning, where does it all end? Is the silent majority so meek that they are willing to just hand the country over to a bunch of thugs? Does freedom of speech and having the moxie to differ with the activists mean they will be executed? It worked in Cuba, China, Venezuela, Iran, and other satanic strongholds.
One of my readers wrote and asked advice on buying a handgun. She lives in Houston by herself and is afraid. She went to three different gun stores and was told it would take four weeks or longer due to the huge demand for guns. If the police are defunded, we will be left with no recourse than to defend ourselves and we would be foolish not to arm ourselves and learn how to use a weapon for protection.
God willing it won’t come to mob rule. Hopefully people will see the situation for what it is. A bunch of people who hate America that run around in packs like vicious hyenas tearing apart easy prey. We have to support those who are fighting mob rule like President Trump, and the CEO of Goya Foods who won’t back down. We must pray for them daily and vote this November. Failure to do so will eventually mean living under socialist, if not communist rule. It is my kids and grandkids I feel sorry for if this current lawlessness doesn’t abate.
All of this mayhem is predicted in the Bible to occur in the last days in which we are living. I was praying for the folks who live in some of these cities that are trying to dismantle their police forces. Has Satan deceived them with such shortsightedness? Who will they call when someone is trying to break down their door in an armed invasion? Who will bring rapists, armed robbers and murderers to justice? There is good and evil in this world and as for the moment evil seems to be winning the battle in many parts of our land. Lord please restore sanity to our nation and have mercy upon your children . . .
