One friend

I watched a news program last night whereby a reporter asked a Mideast expert why Israel has only one friend in the entire world, the United States. China is allowing demonstrations, all of Europe including Britain has taken a position against Israel, and of course all of the Arab countries and Africa. The “expert” stammered around a little and really could not explain. Maybe it is because of anti-Semitism, perhaps because they are such a small country with only 6 million people. He went on to say that none of the other nations are willing to take the moral high ground and do the right thing. Most want oil and other trade and there is a bigger market with a quarter of billion Arabs than with 6 million Jews. Moral high ground doesn’t achieve much. Or does it? The United States is the most prosperous and powerful country in the world.
Could it be our nation’s taking the moral high ground and doing the right thing for Israel and Taiwan for that matter, has resulted in God’s blessing our great nation enormously. I think so.

All of this has been predicted of course in the Bible. All of these nations will turn against the tiny nation of Israel, but they will be miraculously defeated when they invade. Just like the walls of Jericho tumbling down, God will see to it that everything transpires just as He predicted. We are in the last days. Jesus could come for His children at any moment and take us out of this world whereby we will avoid the awful things that are coming. Satan knows this and is increasing his efforts to make a last stand for the moral underground of evil. Soon he will be defeated. He and all of his followers will bother us no more.
It is hard to imagine a world without satan. No terrorists, no evil, no tears, no sickness, no pedophiles, no evil anywhere. I wish God would come today.
