A Christian leader friend of mine left me a blistering voice mail the other day concerning the Democrat’s impeachment sham against Donald Trump. He went on and on about it and it sounded as though he might be foaming at the mouth, so I decided to give him a call and calm him a bit. I missed him but left him a voice-mail and told him that God was still on the throne and things were moving along as He ordains and to do what he could but let God take care of the rest for we know that the final outcome will be delightful for Christians. He tried to call me back and missed but left another voice mail and continued his rant and said he wasn’t going to take this lying down and intended to fight.
Shortly after that exchange I left to go deer hunting on my north Florida farm and one night went to a local restaurant for a bite to eat. The friend I went with quizzed me on what I thought of the impeachment and before I could answer a guy sitting across from us who had been eavesdropping began a rant against Democrats and their crooked impeachment trial and he was quickly joined by occupants of several other tables. Feelings were running high and people were literally hopping mad.
The conversation then switched to gun control and many vows were made that Democrats would only take their guns over their cold dead bodies. Suddenly the conversation switched to abortion and the destruction of innocent babies; then to the homosexual agenda; then to illegal immigration, socialism and communism. If there were any Democrats in that restaurant they stayed in the closet because it was a crescendo of voices railing about those kooks in Washington.
I never did get to answer my friend and instead just listened as the locals railed. It made me wonder how many others in this country have similar feelings. We cannot believe polling, or the media, or the politicians so we are left not knowing who really supports Trump and his agenda and what the outcome of the next election will be. I quit watching the news because it is really not news anymore. It is biased commentary and it often makes me fighting mad.
I wonder how many others feel the same as I do. I personally don’t know one person that supports Democrats, although I’m keenly aware that urban cesspools are full of them as are colleges and Universities, trial lawyers, unions, and illegal immigrants that vote even though they aren’t citizens.
Based on his phenomenal successes in the economy, employment, defense, judges, and getting folks off food stamps I would expect that Trump would easily win reelection and Democrats would lose the House after their shameful actions.
Whatever the case I’m assured that God will reign supreme and all will go as He ordains. I’ve been a Bible student now for over 50 years and I will assure each and every one of you that it will end well for those who follow Christ. I’m often ridiculed for recording ballgames ahead of time. If my team wins, I watch the prerecorded game and though we might falter and struggle, I don’t worry even a little because in the end I know we will be victorious. If my team loses, well I save myself the angst and just delete it. My friends if you will read your Bible you will understand that God guarantees victory in Jesus and though we might falter and struggle through some battles, we will CONVINCINGLY win the war. No need to delete this game, although it is all but impossible not to get angry watching it unfold we need to just cool it!.

For the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.’
