I have begun to wonder if there is some strange magnetic field that surrounds me that is akin to a magnet that attracts pyschos. Being a pyscho magnet is interesting but not always fun. If you could take a peek at my email sometime, you would easily recognize that I seem to attract a litany of nuts. I attract unbeliever pyschos the most. Many have been disillusioned by the church and often by what they perceive as the shortcomings of God. The irony of this line of thinking is that they are appalled by the way creation runs and rant about a God whom they say they don’t believe in.

Huh?

One of the most common questions that I receive was answered nicely by the late great Reverend Billy Graham.

Hmmm . . . This brings up a subject that is taboo in progressive circles, personal accountability. The Bible states that the Garden of Eden was the utopia that we all desire. Why aren’t we still living there? Because we did not want to listen to God and disobeyed Him and have continued to do so right down through the ages. We have now reached a point of evil having all but completely overtaken civilization. I would wager that all but the most satanic despise evil, and yet we continue in sin.

While all of civilization participates, the Democrats/Progressives/Socialists are the worst example. There is not even a desire to hide their evil agenda and like their father Satan they seem to revel in it and celebrate evil. They continue to grow spiritually darker to the point of recently proclaiming itself the party of the religiously non-affiliated. They pursue abortion even through the third trimester to the very day of birth and advocate killing babies outside the womb that somehow survive a botched abortion. They reject biblical mandates for marriage and celebrate the perversion of it with same sex marriage. In 2012 at the DNC the Democrats actually booed God during the platform hearings. And who has not heard of the increasing attack on religious beliefs in America in recent decades, from the courts to the universities and beyond. Just last week a Democrat-led committee met with the purpose of stripping pro-family organizations of their nonprofit status. And it was Democrats who failed to affirm Jerusalem as Israel’s capital?

The list is long with cultural change on the move to include radical feminism, fascinations with the occult and witchcraft, and who can forget the relentless efforts to destroy America’s President and now perform a coup via impeachment.

Yes, evil is everywhere and what we need is a bath. My only suggestion is to modify Dr. Graham’s message and say we need to be washed in the blood of the Lamb. God loves us in spite of our sin, and He is willing to forgive it and restore us to be with Him in a holy place devoid of evil; however, He will not force it upon us like preprogrammed robots. We must make that move. I urge you to do so.

1 John 5:4

For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith.
