What are we teaching our children?

My wife and I were exiting a mall yesterday, and I was walking towards the door and looking down and zipping up my jacket prior to going outside. I did not see a little boy about six or seven years old who was walking towards me, and I nearly ran into him as he deftly moved to the left to avoid a collision. Just as I smiled at him and said excuse me, his mother jerked him up by his arm and yelled at him saying, “YOU don’t get out of their way, THEY get out of your way.” They happened to be African American and I assume that she was instructing him on the fine art of racial injustice and how to deal with it. Sigh…

I wonder why people cannot seem to get along. One reason is because parents teach their children to hate just as they hate. That is the primary reason that we have skin heads and that is why we have Black Panthers, Hezbollah, and Nazis and on, and on. Jesus has a solution.
Oh how nice it would be if everyone would follow His counsel.
