Remain steadfast!

I often get discouraged seeing the apparent success of evil. The world seems to hate the United States and what we stand for as a nation. It is ridiculous that they support every two bit dictator in the world.
The US gives away money by the billions and the world just hates us worse. It seems that everything just and nobel and Godly is attacked and everything anti-Christ is defended. Jesus stated that we should not be discouraged if the world hates us, for it hated Him first. God is long-suffering toward the world, “not willing that any should perish”, but one day there will be a day of reckoning. We are facing three wars now, Iraq, North Korea , and Osama Bin Laden and his gang of thugs and terrorists. All are nuclear threats and the Bible eerily describes a nuclear end to things as we know them. Anyone who thinks that evil does not exist and indeed is increasing in power and moving towards the end of time just as the Bible predicted is naive. We are moving toward the end of things as we know them, I hope that you realize that and live your life accordingly.

2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will
come as a thief in the night, in which
the heavens will pass away with a
great noise, the the elements will
melt with fervent heat; both the earth
and the works that are in it will be
burned up.
Therefore since all these things
will be dissolved, what manner of
persons ought you to be in holy
conduct and Godliness,
looking for and hastening the
coming of the day of God, because
of which the heavens will be
dissolved, being on fire, and the
elements will melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to
His promise, look for new heavens
and a new earth in which righteousness
dwells.
