Life has its ups and downs. Lately I have enjoyed great “weather” in my life with no complaints, but not all who read this can say the same. Some of the people reading this have a broken heart, or at the very least know someone who is currently in that state. There is but one answer for the grieving heart and that is to draw close to God. He is known in the Bible as the Comforter for good reason. He comforts our every need. The Bible teaches that if we draw near to God, He will draw near to us. We just need to take Him up on this promise. The good thing about it is that God has never broken a promise. If you have a broken heart, ask God to hear you and to heal you. Then have faith that He will hear you and answer your earnest prayers.

Psalm 34:17
The righteous cry out,
and the Lord hears,
And delivers them out of all
their troubles.
The Lord is near to those who
have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a
contrite spirit.
