I was appalled to see that leftists find no time to rest, even on Thanksgiving Day. So yesterday a liberal I know sent me an e-mail ranting about “immigrants.” He conveniently left out that these people are “illegal” immigrants. He of course slammed Trump and told me that my salvation was in danger of being lost because I am opposed to allowing anyone who desires to walk across our border to do so including MS13 members, drug and sex traffickers, terrorists, and cartel criminals. His primary ire at me was due to the fact that I support President Trump on most of his policies. This guy has moved to Panama and I told him as I have done on prior occasions that he has no right to talk about America when he has abandoned his country. I encouraged him to keep moving south to Venezuela or perhaps east to Cuba where he might find their form of government to be more to his liking.
Ugh I encouraged him to spend more time reading his Bible especially as it pertains to losing one’s salvation. He is obviously unaware that the blood of Christ cannot be removed for disagreements on border control. In fact, even if his silly assertion that I have sinned in this matter were correct Jesus would forgive me.
He then moved on to chastise the people of the United States for celebrating Thanksgiving because our founders treated indigenous people poorly. He seemed to blame Trump for that as well. Geez! I told him that he was so filled with hate for Trump that he was blind. The sad thing about this guy is that he believes all of this nonsense. He can’t give it a rest for even one single day whereby people can come together and thank God for all that He has done for us and our great country. I suppose this attack on Thanksgiving is by design because no liberal leftist is interested in thanking God for anything. Christmas will be the next holiday we have to endure their rants and sooner or later saying Merry Christmas will evoke the same kind of hateful rhetoric as Happy Thanksgiving is evoking now and perhaps the ACLU will launch lawsuits.
I don’t know about you, but I want to thank God for allowing me to live in this great country and for all of the other blessings He has given me. I pray for these individuals who are so miserable that they cannot even enjoy a day of thanksgiving to our Lord and bask in His rest. I also want to thank God for my favorite meal, turkey and all the trimmings. I pray that those who want to come to this country will apply for citizenship in a law-abiding manner and that people will come to understand that President Reagan. Clinton, both Bushes, and even the Left’s darling Prince Obama all supported enforcement of our immigration laws just as Trump is trying to enforce them. If people don’t like our laws on DACA, immigration, or anything else they should vote in those who will change them.
Thank You Jesus for what You did for the world and help those who are trapped in darkness to see Your light. Amen . . .
