The Bible has much to say about pride. Satan’s original fall from grace was due to hispride.Jesus Christ had more to be prideful about that any living creature. He is the living Son of God, heir to all of creation with so many angels under His command that we cannot fathom it. His wealth cannot be counted; He owns it all! Yet he came to earth and was born in a manger. He did not demand the finest seat at the head table. He did not dress in the finest silk. He did not have others wait on Him hand and foot, he worked as a carpenter. The example He set was one of humbleness and humility. He washed the feet of His own disciples on His hands and knees.

It is hard sometimes not to have pride, especially when something excellent is accomplished. The pride we should feel is in Jesus Christ for BLESSING us, not in what “we” have accomplished.Remember what happened to satan. The Bible states that he fell as a star from heaven.Don’t set yourself up for a fall like satan’s. Remember pride comes before destruction. Count your blessings and give all of the credit and all of the glory to Jesus Christ.
___________
James 4:6
God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.

How well do you know the Bible?
The following questions are answered in Proverbs 30. Do you know who this person is?
Who has woe?
Who has sorrow?
Who has contentions?
Who has complaints?
Who has wounds without cause?
Who has redness of eyes?
