Wow! Anthony Kennedy has retired. Wow! Wow! Wow!
Trump gets to make another lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court. Some are predicting his choice will serve 45 years. Aren’t you glad it isn’t Hillary making these Supreme Court appointments? This is major news and I predict this appointment combined with the Neil Gorsuch appointment will do more to stop those who have made a mockery of our constitution for decades than anything else that might be done.
Our constitution is different than any other country’s constitution in the world. It separates “them” from us, primarily through its guarantees of freedoms. Leftists want to disregard the constitution and make up a new one. Their tactics to dismantle it are the same ones they use for the Bible. They want to get rid of anything that prohibits them from pursuing their Godless agenda of abortion on demand, the gay agenda, and the constant attacks on Christians and guarantees of freedom of religion and the right to keep and bear arms. Conservatives want to preserve what has made us the greatest country in the world.
I wouldn’t want to have been a fly on the wall when the liberals got the Kennedy retirement news flash. Even flies should be spared the vulgar profanity laced tirades of imploding leftists. If you thought there was animosity before this event, think again. The Democrats are already becoming the party of violence and will no doubt go to all-out war over this nomination. Senator Schumer has already declared that no person appointed by Trump will be acceptable. (How’s that for being reasonable?) Celebrities and media darlings are in total meltdown raging and howling.
They remind me of an old coon dog I had named Poochie. I’d look at him and say, “Talk to me boy!” and old Poochie would start howling for everything he was worth just like he had treed a big fat raccoon. It also reminds me of a trip I took to Costa Rico. We flew into San Jose and then took a bus to the west coast resort El Ocotal to go bill fishing for Pacific sailfish and marlin. About halfway there the bus stopped, and the driver got out and started making noises with his mouth. The next thing we knew an entire tribe of howling monkeys appeared out of the jungle and started howling at him at the top of their lungs and jumping around in the trees. It reminds me of Trump saying something and the anti-Trumpers reacting.
Well hang onto your hats because the fight will rage, and the thug throng will howl and run through the streets, but in the end, I believe that Trump will successfully nominate yet another qualified constitutionalist to the Supreme Court and the Senate will confirm him. Praise God.
Just keep in mind that success is contingent on us. This fight could possibly end up being decided after the midterm elections. We must keep the Senate majority in the hands of Republicans and that means we must vote but also try to convince other like-minded people to vote. Right here in Florida we have a conservative Republican, Governor Scott running against the incumbent raging liberal Democrat Bill Nelson for the senate. Vote for Scott who will be a partner in Trump’s fight to drain the swamp. I don’t know where you live, but if facing a similar choice in your state, you know what to do.
If you are too busy to go vote, then ask for an absentee ballot and vote from the comfort of your own home, (that’s what I do.) But whatever you do VOTE, unless of course you are a liberal Democrat in which I ask you to kindly disregard this request.
Most of all pray for our President and our country and thank God for getting America back on the right track! It just goes to show that indeed evil can be overcome if we stay strong and good.
