I just got back from Washington D.C. where we held another think tank meeting concerning stopping child rape. It was the best meeting so far, and we made some real progress towards developing a comprehensive strategic plan designed to curb the demand of sexual predators to buy sex with children.
We were given an update concerning a disturbing trend among pedophiles whose lust is for sex with the youngest of our children – (infants to 4 years old.) They are producing and selling (for huge sums of money) series of pornography films of these children as they are raped sodomized, and tortured over an extended period of time. After a steady progression of worsening acts committed on the child, sometimes for years, the film series concludes with the child being murdered on camera. “Snuff” films are what they are called.
These videos are of course illegal but are difficult to ferret out. They are located on areas of the dark web connected by a series of servers and encryption techniques, and the only way anyone can get credentialed to watch one is to send them a video portraying themselves actually performing these acts.
Why haven’t you heard about this on the news? Good question. Powerful people in D.C. and New York are aware of the problem, but many of them are part of the problem. Pedophilia is dominated by powerful men in leadership positions (and more and more women.)
The justice department has meager resources allotted to this problem, and this is one of our think tank’s action items to somehow get to the right people, get them to quit talking about football players kneeling for the National Anthem and disrespecting our flag and impeaching Trump for speaking out against it, and actually do something to help our children.
It is a heartbreaking job for investigators to watch this garbage and maintain their sanity. It is so evil and depraved that investigators who must watch video after video literally lose their sanity. I was told of one investigator who dutifully prepared a case against a pedophile working tirelessly for months. She had to watch video after video of the most horrific acts anyone could conceive. Once her case was completed and she turned it over to prosecutors she pulled out her weapon and committed suicide.
Many other subjects were discussed at our meeting regarding increasing public awareness of what is occurring, legislative and policy issues, lack of enforcement of existing laws, anti-pornography, training, and funding.
Perhaps the most alarming subject was the fact that child rape is increasing at a very fast pace – We are losing this war. Children are now primarily being abducted here in the United States instead of importing them from places like Thailand, South America, and India. Children are being snatched in ever increasing numbers out of malls, school grounds, bus stops, and anywhere they are left unprotected and vulnerable.
Who would have ever thought this kind of thing could happen in this country?
Satan is real and he is determined to destroy the lives of these kids and those of the perpetrators who have been swayed into this depraved lustful aberration. Perpetrators are not born bad, but primarily develop habits stemming from watching pornography and/or being abused themselves. Almost all perpetrators begin by watching soft pornography until they can no longer get sexual gratification in that manner. They advance to hard core porn, and then spiral down to younger and younger children.
When watching reaches a point where it is no longer enough for them, they want to act it out, and that is when they seek out and engage with children. Interestingly it is the same way most people become addicted to dangerous drugs like meth and opioids. They begin with marijuana or something that is not as harmful, then advance to more dangerous drugs. Soon they must take larger and larger doses until they become a full-fledged addict, doomed to a life of misery that invariably ends badly. I never met a drug addict that ever thought they would become one or wanted that for their life; I assume pedophiles are similar.
I suppose Satan has found the perfect formula to destroy those who allow him an opening into their lives. Satan knows he has an entry point into your life if God is not first in your heart. Remember what Jesus said? “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind . . . ” (Luke 10:27).
I love studying Proverbs daily because it gives us wisdom in solving life’s problems. According to statistics half of our population suffers from pornography addiction to varying degrees of frequency and levels of perversity. Proverbs 4:23 tells us how to get a grip – “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it”
How do we guard our hearts?
