Hatred

It is almost amusing, but actually sickening to watch our political process move forward. George Bush is trying to run positive ads which would seem to be a pleasant change for our political process, and the press is all over him for a nana-second clip of a draped coffin reminding us of the 911 tragedy. The liberal left hates George Bush with everything they have in their being. Likewise our entire country seems to be divided. There are those who want to allow gay marriages, ban God from everything, and encourage events like the half-time disgrace at the Super Bowl, put pornography in front of kids, facilitate abortion, ban movies like Mel Gibsons The Passion, and on and on. The other half of the country takes the opposite view.

I honestly do not know how or WHY George Bush or any decent human being is even willing to run for office and take the constant abuse and withstand the hatred. Bush is talented, wealthy, happy in his faith, has a nice family, and many friends. He has achieved and over-achieved, and does not need another term as President. He puts his very life and his familys lives at risk to the hatred of so many. Obviously he has a strong desire to lead this country down a decent direction, or he would just say, Who needs this?

God help him and those like him who put their very lives at risk for our sakes and for this great country. They need our daily prayers to withstand the hatred of this world. I try to pray for George Bush every day and ask you to do likewise. We must support him with our prayers, finances and personal time. Otherwise the liberals and their Godless agenda will cram gay marriages, abortion, pornography and all of the rest down our throats. The world hated Jesus Christ, because He stood for what is right, but men so loved their sins and darkness that they hated Him for it. My how nothing has changed, odd, isnt it?
