The most important first step of undertaking anything worthwhile should be prayer. It is the beginning of success. Prayer is the most powerful weapon at our disposal. Don’t take my word for it, here is what God has to say about it:
Matthew 7:7 – “Ask, and it will be given to you seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Matthew 21:22 – And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
Mark 11:24 – Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
John 14:13-14 – Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it
Yesterday I was on a prayer intercessory call with the Jesus Alliance team and we were discussing our quest to reduce demand for child rape by introducing federal legislation that will provide harsh penalties for those who pay for the privilege of raping a child. (No, it is not prostitution when a child is involved, it is RAPE!)
The leader of our group is going to organize great numbers of national leaders to begin a prayer vigil for the success of this effort. Child rape, child pornography, and trafficking children for sex is the worst evil that Satan has launched. Believe it or not there is opposition to this effort. Primarily misguided people are concerned that ultra-harsh penalties for the predators will ruin their lives.
Huh?
What about the children? Their lives are ALWAYS ruined and most end up dead from beatings, STD’s like HIV and drug overdoses. A predator doesn’t just affect a single life, there are recorded cases of thousands of victims assaulted by a singular predator. If these children are lucky enough to escape the horrific torture, they must relive it for the rest of their lives. Something must be done to reduce the demand and knowing they aren’t going to get off with light penalties and will serve hard time for 25-life in a tough federal prison is probably the best solution going.
What if it was your child or grandchild that is snatched from a mall and subjected to the horror that these little kids aged 6-14 endure? I will soon publish a prayer line where you can get on your knees with us and pray for the success of this effort. In the meantime, pray on your own that God will heal our land of this plague.
Without the Holy Spirit providing the wind behind our sails we cannot succeed. The evil cartel and syndicate bosses and pimps are making billions in this godless industry and it will not be easy to take away their lucrative livelihood. These animals play rough and are dangerous, but they are no match for almighty God.
The first and most important step is to petition God to intercede on our behalf. I’m going to Washington D.C. in just a few days. Pray that doors will be opened for me and hearts will be broken as I detail the severity of the problem and propose a solution.

We need power when dealing with demons. Just listen to Jesus:
Mark 9:29
And he said to them, “This kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer.”
