For your consideration…

We will soon celebrate the birth of Jesus, but we should keep in mind that His purpose was to cleanse us of our sins through His death on the cross. Hopefully most all of you who read this have accepted the Lord as their Savior and are ready to face Him when called home. What about your friends and relatives? Are they ready? If not and you cannot convince them to change their thinking, they will spend eternity in Hell.

Jesus had more to say about Hell during His brief stay on earth than anyone. Hell is real and it is not a good place to be. Imagine being in total darkness alone for eternity. I watched with interest as they described what it would be like for Scott Peterson to spend his life on death row. Twenty three hours a day alone in a small cell. That existence, as bad as it will be, will be is nothing compared to Hell.
Jesus said there will be weeping and gnashing of the teeth. He called it a lake of fire. He spoke of tormented souls. He came to this earth to save us from that awful existence at a great price. If you or someone you know is not prepared, for heaven’s sake, (literally), do something about it today!
