Lately Muslim members of congress and others have adopted the phrase “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free”. This is an antisemitic slogan commonly featured in anti-Israel campaigns and chanted at demonstrations.
This rallying cry has long been used by anti-Israel voices, including supporters of terrorist organizations such as Hamas and other terrorists such as Iran, which seek Israel’s destruction through violent means. It is fundamentally a call for a Palestinian state extending from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, territory that includes the State of Israel, which would mean the dismantling of the Jewish state. It is an antisemitic charge denying the Jewish right to self-determination, including through the removal of Jews from their ancestral homeland.
No doubt usage of this phrase has the effect of making members of the Jewish and pro-Israel community feel unsafe and ostracized. It is important to note that demanding justice for Palestinians, or calling for a Palestinian state, should not mean, as this hateful phrase postulates, denying the right of the State of Israel to exist. In fact, it is impossible to imagine that anti-Israel activists have no idea that this slogan is a common call to arms for those who want to destroy Israel.
So yesterday a Jewish supporter was killed on a college campus for demonstrating for the Jewish nation. Make no mistake Muslims are pouring across the border and bringing their automatic weapons and plastic explosives with them. I don’t want to be labeled a harbinger, but it is my opinion that there will be terrorism in the United States and soon.
Who will win the next election? Will it be those who continue to desire to have open borders or those who want a strong defense? If we are attacked from within who will do anything about it. A friend stated that “Thou shall not kill. What are we supposed to do squirt them with a squirt gun?
Murder is always sinful in Scripture, but killing is condoned. For example, you wake up at night while someone is breaking in your house. You don’t know what they are packing or what they came to do, so in self-defense you shoot them. This is a justifiable killing. There are times when soldiers in war and police officers must kill. These are justifiable.
There is a time for everything and sometimes there is a time to kill. We may be fighting a war on our own soil before we know it. When and if we do we must be prepared to fight and kill.
To those who disagree, just imagine what we did with “Shock and Awe and the Iraq war after 9/11. Now Israel is undergoing a sneak attack of the worst kind and many are wailing like howling banshee monkeys. We cannot have it both ways.
My solution:
Deut. 33:27
The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before you; and shall say, Destroy them.
