It seems that being a transgender (trans) is now in vogue. Surprisingly to me little is heard of feminists opposing it. For example, these women who will seemingly fight to the death to be recognized as equals to men in every area, now stand by silently as men (who claim to be women) compete in women’s sports programs. Not surprisingly women’s sports has been decimated and is dominated by men posing as women athletes. Brave women go against genetically bigger and stronger men.
Of course, those who are always trying to make a buck stand ready to cash in on the phenomenon. Anheuser-Busch set social media ablaze when beer giant Bud Light celebrated transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney’s “365 Days of Girlhood” with a polarizing promotion. He was even given a beer can with his face printed on it to celebrate his 365 days of being a “woman” . Not to be outdone Nike on Wednesday became the latest big-name company to make a financial deal to promote this mixed up guy with a new clothing line and highlighting sports bras.
Personally, I don’t give a whit about some dude wanting to dress up like a girl and prance around like a flaming briquette. I do care that misguided people are performing irreversible transgender surgeries on young children and pushing to allow our misguided government the right to do so without the parent’s permission. I do care that women’s sports is being wrecked and these perverts are being allowed in women’s locker rooms to watch them shower. And I do care that little children are exposed to drag queen shows where the homosexuals straddle young children simulating sexual acts.
Not long after founding the Jesus Alliance I began a think tank in Washington D.C. to fight sex trafficking of children. Experts in most fields that dealt with the exploitation and rape of children were on this board. I remember one member stating that pedophiles had recently launched a major initiative to legalize pedophilia. I remember wondering if such a thing could ever happen and of course this ongoing promotion which began in California is now gaining traction. The glorification of homosexuals and their lifestyles has now become a mainstream issue in many different areas, and it is highly organized and well-funded.
As you see this immoral activity and depravity progress day after day just remember that God has forbidden humankind from engaging in homosexuality. We were created in God’s image, and His immutable laws don’t allow for changing His plan. You may choose not to believe the Bible and make up your own rules and all of society might even follow you like lemmings headed for the cliff; if so, know we all were endowed with a free will but there will be consequences for behavior that goes contrary to God’s laws and He does not change.
As I look at the photos of this young man, I feel sorrow in knowing that he has decided to go his own way which is contrary to God’s plan for his peace and happiness. In Romans 1:26 the Apostle Paul says that homosexuality is contrary to God’s natural order and results from rejecting God. Perhaps the most striking example of a city that became totally depraved and overcome with homosexuality, and how God dealt with it, is described in Jude 1:7 – Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.
If we play with fire – we get burned! I pray for the people that are ensnared by homosexuality and that they might repent and be saved before it is too late. This behavior and a host of other signs are pointing toward the return of our Lord. And before you criticize this post just remember it is God that sets the rules, don’t shoot the messenger because you don’t like the message. I urge you to read what God says in the Holy Bible. I base my belief system entirely in it and not me or some pontificator.
