I would like to thank all of you who contributed to the Jesus Alliance in response to my recent urgent plea for financial help. Now more than ever Christians need a voice in this world and we sure as heck aren’t going to get it from mainstream media or Silicon Valley’s liberal social media communication stranglehold. In fact, all we get from them is a continuous stream of poisonous lies that are filling the minds of our young people and others.

In an effort to get the truth out the Jesus Alliance sends out positive truthful pro-God messages daily to counteract them. We sent one post out a couple of weeks ago that is geared towards encouraging/allowing children to read the Bible that is still getting circulated that is now over 4.5 million views. Over 25 million people have been encouraged so far this year. Without your help no one would be viewing anything but the anti-God side of things.

It bothers me to waste your valuable time or mine addressing the issue below, but I feel that the Holy Spirit is urging me to address it. I had two people that criticized the mailing; one said I was like the televangelist Benny Hinn asking for money, and the other said I was turning the Jesus Alliance into a business.

Sigh . . . I have worked for the Jesus Alliance for four plus years and have never taken one dime’s salary or perk and we only have one paid employee who gets paid a minimal salary and ends up volunteering to work a tremendous number of hours every day including weekends.  We have a few independent contractors whose pro bono work exceeds their billing. That’s it, and yet look what we achieve. Imagine what we could do if we could afford to add more people, enhance our website, and hire a creative team to create content . . .

I would say that most of you are aware that if I wanted to make money, I would still be in business instead of the ministry and be making millions of dollars. I walked away from all of that because I felt I should serve the Lord Jesus fulltime. I’m not trying to boast. It nauseates me to say anything, but I think evil thinking and speaking should be confronted directly and swiftly.

By the way I checked on those who’ve complained and lo and behold they have never given even one penny to the Jesus Alliance.

Go figure . . .

It makes me sad to see Christians with attitudes like this. If two wrote about it, others probably have similar feelings. Do these people think that maintaining websites, creating content, curating materials, and adding followers is free? It is not free, in fact, it’s very expensive. Several of us are doing our financial part to put out pro-God messages to counteract the anti-God messages flooding our country, but we cannot do it alone, thus I asked each of you for help. I don’t apologize for it, the Bible in fact tells us to do so. Praise God for those of you who rose to the occasion and especially those who faithfully contribute each and every month. God will remember your generosity FOREVER and as the saying goes one cannot out give God. He will bless you many times over in this life for whatever you do to advance His kingdom. And remember no amount is too small. In fact, the poor widow gave all she had, 1/4 penny, to the Lord and Jesus told her that she contributed more than any of the rest. A cheerful giver who sacrifices is a righteous person in the eyes of God.

Ironically the anti-God crowd has no problem raising money. George Soros alone designated $18 billion dollars of his personal fortune to his anti-American/anti God – Free Society Foundation – efforts. He is joined by thousands of others who are pouring billions of dollars into projects like smearing Judge Kavanaugh, promoting abortion, gay rights, taking crosses off churches, stopping prayer anywhere and everywhere, destroying lives of decent people, and applauding desecrating our flag to look like a righteous thing to do.

I’ve often wondered why people on our side don’t give with the same fervor. I don’t know of any ministry that isnt struggling financially. It is a mystery and only God can answer that one.

We are each given around 80 years on this earth. No material object will go with us when we die. Eternity is forever and the Bible states that your gifts to the Lord will last forever. In light of that should we be focusing on the 80 years, or the zillions and zillions of years that will follow this life?

Every person’s giving is between them and God. I don’t judge anyone because they give or don’t give. That is God’s job. Admittedly I don’t like it when someone questions my motives, but if they don’t want to give that is their choice.

I do know that if more Christians do not join this battle, only one side of the story will ever be told. If not us, who is going to fight this battle for the minds and souls of our children, grandchildren and others who cannot see the truth and hear the Gospel because of Satan’s total stranglehold on all forms of communication?

Mark 16:15

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
